Jesus went around healing the sick and casting out devils. This is clear in the gospel of Matthew. The Lord saw that the mission of his ministry to connect the messages to the miracles. Then, we told us to walk in miracle power too.

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.  Large crowds…followed him. (Matthew 4:23-25)

Jesus was in the healing business. The blood that saves us also heals us. Oh, the power of the blood… the wonder working power of the blood!

  1. People do not believe Jesus will heal. (Hebrews 11:6)
  2. People do not live holy lives. (Hebrews 12:4)
  3. People are in relational sin. (1 Peter 3:7)

Believe right, live right, treat people right

I have found these reasons to be the greatest hindrance to the breakthrough of healing in people’s lives. There is something connected with having faith, living holy and valuing the people that God has put in your life that releases the healing power in the Spirit. I have seen this time and time again.

I am not saying that there are sick people who have faith, walk in the holiness of God and have things right at home. I know this to be true, first hand. However, the Word is still the Word. I do not question the scripture; I question my experience.

If you are believing for healing, continue to stand for the miracle that Jesus did at the Cross. According to John 19:30, “It is finished.” Your miracles is paid for at Golgotha. Believe it. Receive it.
